Green chilaquiles

My favorite chilaquiles are my mom's, that's why this recipe had to be made by her. And all of my mother's recipes are worthy of a thousand videos and photos.

Green sauce

  • 1 kilo of tomatillo

  • 4 serrano chiles

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1/2 onion

  • salt to taste

  • chicken broth

  • epazote


Ingredients

  • baked tortilla chips

  • cilantro to taste

  • panela cheese to taste

  • onion to taste

  • starred egg


Instructions

  1. Boil the sauce ingredients over medium heat (the broth, epazote and salt not yet) until the tomatillo changes color.

  2. Place and blend the ingredients.

  3. Cook the liquefied green sauce in a pot and add chicken broth, dry epazote and salt to taste to season.

  4. Once ready, add it to your tortilla chips along with the toppings.
